Dans le dressing de Juliette Adler

In Juliette Adler's dressing room

This week, we wanted to introduce you to the story and inspiring wardrobe of...

JULIETTE ADLER

A mother of 3, passionate about fashion, carefully cultivating an artistic and colorful style with vintage elements.

How do you define your style?

"My style varies depending on the season! I have a rather street style for Fall-Winter, quite masculine, mainly composed of denim , overalls , caps , men's coats . I am very inspired by the 80's/90's, the US, shoulder pads for this time of year.

My Spring-Summer style is much more feminine, much more romantic. It is composed of floral prints , colorful pieces , long dresses and bows in the hair . It is a style that is both very floral and very soft.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?

“The one I’m currently wearing: overalls! They’re really my favorite item! I collect them, I have them in all colors, all materials. They’re THE iconic and flagship piece in my wardrobe.

What is your favorite brand?

" I can't just name one! There are so many brands that I love. But I can name them according to the seasons: I would say for Fall-Winter: Ganni , American Vintage and for Spring-Summer: Sea NY and Meadows. "

What is the place of second-hand goods in your life?

"Second-hand has an important place in my life ! I LOVE rummaging, I love finding new gems. Whether in second-hand shops, via apps, within my family, at friends'... everywhere! I love the idea that a piece of clothing has several lives and can be passed down from generation to generation."

Can we see your favorite second-hand item?

" I have two: The first, a vintage Valentino blazer that belonged to my husband's grandmother. It has shoulder pads, a great cut, it immediately makes an impact! The second is a funnier, more original piece that I found on a second-hand site: it's a very cheerful Yves Saint-Laurent blazer with large shoulder pads »

What do you look at first before buying a piece of clothing?

" The first thing I look at as a detail before buying a garment is its material. It's the essential element: it has to be beautiful, noble, I like it and it has to have a nice cut. The most important thing then is the detail that will make the difference: a pretty embroidery, an unusual button, a different collar. "
