With her admiration for artisanal traditions from around the world , she decided to create her own brand, highlighting ancestral embroidery, dyeing and weaving techniques . In Bali, she discovered batik, a thousand-year-old silk printing technique. Later, she explored other skills: in Peru, lace and knitting and in India she discovered embroidery and bandhani, a tie & dye dyeing technique.
